Think Big Partners and the Kansas City Living Lab

Working in conjunction with Cisco Systems, Think Big Partners is developing and managing the Kansas City Living Lab in an effort to speed up the implementation of new technology for the Kansas City government and its affiliated projects. The ultimate goal of the Kansas City Living Lab is to modernize city infrastructure, increasing overall efficiency while simultaneously reducing operational and maintenance costs. Employing state-of-the-art Internet-of-things technology, the Living Lab will spearhead innovative projects to improve Kansas City roads, bridges, buildings, and other city assets. These elements will be digitally interconnected to create a “smart” city that will improve the lives of the people who live there and create new streams of revenue.
